Invitation & Registration
To become a school owner, you must receive an invitation from our admin team.
How it works:
- Contact our admin team to request school owner access
- You'll receive an invitation email with a secure link
- Click the link to register your account (valid for 7 days)
- Wait for admin verification of your account
- Once verified, you can access your school owner dashboard

Getting Started
Welcome to the Dance Finder platform! This guide will help you set up and manage your school profile.
What you'll need:
- Basic information about your dance school
- List of dance types you teach
- Contact information (phone, email, website)
- Details about your facilities and amenities
- School logo or photo (optional but recommended)
- Exact location coordinates (use our map picker)
Adding Your School
Navigate to your dashboard to add your school information. Fill out all required fields for the best visibility.
Step-by-step process:
- Log in to your school owner account
- Navigate to your dashboard
- Click on "Manage Your School"
- Fill out all required fields in each tab
- Save your changes to publish your profile

Complete all sections of your profile to increase visibility and attract more students. Schools with complete profiles rank higher in search results!
Filling Out School Information
Provide comprehensive information about your school including dance types, facilities, and contact details.
Basic Info Tab
- School Name: Your official school name
- Description: Detailed overview of your school (up to 500 words)
- Short Description: Brief summary for search results
- Logo: Upload your school logo or representative image
Dance Types Tab
- Select all dance types you teach
- Choose from 25+ dance styles
- Multiple selections allowed
Facilities Tab
- Studio size (Small, Medium, Large)
- Available amenities (parking, changing rooms, showers, lockers)
- Help students find schools that meet their needs
Contact Tab
- Phone number for inquiries
- Email address for booking
- Website URL (optional)
- Physical address for directions
Setting Your Location
Use our interactive map picker to set your school's exact location.
How to use the map picker:
- Navigate to your school edit page
- Enter your city in the location field
- The map will automatically center on your city
- Click on the map to select your exact location
- The coordinates will be automatically saved
📍 Important
Location changes require admin approval to prevent abuse and ensure accuracy.
Field-Level Permissions
Different fields have different permission levels. Some changes are instant, while others require admin approval.
✓ Instant Update Fields
These fields update immediately without admin approval:
- Description and short description
- Contact information (phone, email, website)
- Facilities and amenities
- Dance types (based on your subscription tier)
⏳ Admin Approval Required
These fields require admin approval before going live:
- School name
- City
- Location coordinates
Changes to these fields will be marked as "pending" until reviewed by an admin.
Preview Mode
When you have pending changes awaiting admin approval, you can preview how they will look.
Preview features:
- Side-by-side comparison of current vs. pending values
- Visual indicator showing which fields have pending changes
- See exactly what admins will review
- Track approval status in real-time
⏱️ Approval Timeline
Most changes are reviewed within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email notification when your changes are approved or if more information is needed.
